Work at Height Awareness
Course duration. ½ day
Falls from height are a major cause of fatal and serious injuries in the workplace. The Work at Height Regulations define a work place is at height if a person could be injured falling from it, even if it is at or below ground level and require that all work at height must be properly planned and, just as important, that those carrying out the work at height are trained and competent to safely undertake the work.
This places a duty on employers to provide appropriate training for all employees. The aim of this course is to ensure that personnel are aware of the legal and best practice requirements when planning or working at height and are aware of their responsibilities.
